Entering a CUSIP Number in the F045145 Table

Access the Adjust 1099 Securities ID Records form.

When you retrieve an existing record from F045145, the system displays the existing CUSIP number in the CUSIP Number field. You can modify the existing CUSIP number also.

Select one of these options while entering a CUSIP number:

• Bond(s) With Blank CUSIP Number: If you select this option, the system stores the selected record to F045145 with a blank CUSIP number.

• Single Bond With CUSIP Number: If you select this option, you must enter a CUSIP number in the available field.

• Multiple Bonds CUSIP Number: You select this option when you have multiple CUSIP numbers by the way of having multiple tax-exempt bonds. In such a case, the system saves the CUSIP number as Various.
