Prerequisites
Before you generate IRIS output, complete the applicable 1099 year-end processing and review the results.

If you use the Accounts Payables (A/P) ledger method, ensure that you built the 1099 A/P Worktable (F045143).

If you use the General Ledger (G/L) method only, ensure that you built the 1099 G/L Worktable (F045141).

For information about electronic software updates (ESUs) for the 1099 programs, visit the My Oracle Support website regularly. Ensure that all applicable 1099 programs contain the most up-to-date ESUs.

Identify an accessible, fully qualified file path for the CSV output. Ensure that the directory exists and that the user and EnterpriseOne server have the required permissions.

Verify the current IRS requirements for the reporting year, including the applicable IRIS schema and business rule package. Obtain the appropriate IRIS credentials for the filing channel.
