Generating W-2 and W-2C Forms Using Embedded BI Publisher

BI Publisher for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is enabled for the reports R07884/XJDE0003BI, R07884/XJDE0004BI, R07885/XJDE0003BI, and R07885A/XJDE0002BI for W-2 forms, and for report R07887/XJDE0003BI for W-2C forms. The JD Edwards EnterpriseOne reports are available with the Year End Software download. Unless specified in the documentation for a specific report, do not modify any report settings.

By using the R07884 (XJDE0003BI), R07884 (XJDE0004BI), R07885 (XJDE0003BI), R07885A (XJDE0002BI) and R07887 (XJDE0003BI) reports, you can submit reports from the Year End Workbench program (P07810) to generate the W-2 and W-2C forms.

If you create a new batch version or copy an existing version to generate W-2 and W-2C forms by using BI Publisher, you should associate the version or copy with a template and report definition. If you run a new version or copy that is not associated to a template and report definition, then the system will print the default pre-printed version.

Note: For the 9.0 release, Laser W2 4UP Print BIP versions R07885/XJDE0003BI and R07885A/XJDE0002BI generates incorrect page breaks when you run these versions on 8.98 series tools release having 10.1.3.4.1 BIP version. Therefore, new versions R07885/XJDE0004BI and R07885A/XJDE0003BI are provided on 8.98 series tools release. You must use these new versions to get the correct W-2 output on 8.98 series tools release. These versions are provided only in 9.0 apps release.

Note: After Electronic Software Update (ESU) is downloaded, verify and to ensure that TP07884, TP07885, TP07887 and TP07885A records in P95600 - BI Publisher Object Repository have valid start and end dates. If required, select the record for which you want to enter a valid start and end date. Then, from the Row menu, select Effective Dates.
