Setting Processing Options for Laser Print W-2s (2 part) (R07884)
Processing options enable you to specify the default processing for programs and reports.
- 1. Print Instructions
Enter a value to specify whether to print instructions on W-2 copies 1, 2, B, C, and D forms for BI versions. Valid values are:
0 or Blank (Default): Print instructions.
1: Do not print instructions.
- 2. Enter Copy Name
Enter a value to specify the copy of W-2 for BI versions. Valid values are:
1: State, city, or local tax department
B: To be filed with employee's federal tax return
C: For employee's records
2: To be filed with employee's state, city, or local income tax return
D: For the employer
- 3. Print Last 4 digits of Employee Tax ID number on form
Enter a value to enable the Social Security Number for the employee copy to be either masked or unmasked. Valid values are:
Blank (Default): Print 9 digit Tax ID number
1: Print last 4 digits of Employee Tax ID number.
The value 1 in this processing option has effect only when the Copy Names are either B or C.
