This enhancement enables you to swiftly identify the cause of a kernel failure and intimate the respective teams, enabling them to take corrective action in a timely manner and avoid the hassles caused by a kernel failure.

Server Manager - Automated TLS Configuration Between Console and Agent

This feature simplifies and automates the configuration of TLS-based JMX communications between the Server Manager Console and the Server Manager Agents. This functionality eliminates the need to run multiple platform-specific commands for importing the certificate file into the Java keystore and truststore files.

Starting with Tools Release 9.2.5, TLSv1.3 support is available on WebLogic Server (WLS) if you are using Server Manager with Java 1.8 Update 261 and later.

Remove the local Oracle database from the Development Client

In support of the feature change for the Development Client, where the local Oracle database was removed in Tools 9.2.5.0, various verbiage changes were made throughout the guide, and these sections were deleted:

  • Installing the Local Oracle Database
  • Troubleshooting the Installation Process - OEE Local Database
  • Running OEESetup.exe from the Command Line

Also removed this section because the issue no longer exists:

  • Working with the impdb.exe and expdb.exe Programs
