Editing Content

You can edit a content frame by changing the content name, description, content source (URL or application, form, and version), dynamic parameters, and conditional criteria.

Note: Although the OBIEE URL field appears to not be available for editing, you can click Search and then select a different object on the OBIEE object window that pops up. This action replaces the existing content with new content, and if you want dynamic links or conditions for displaying the content, you must reenter the information.

You can click Cancel to remove unsaved edits.

To edit content:

1. In the framework edit mode, select the layout that contains the content frame that you want to edit.

2. Click the Detail icon on the left-hand side of the content frame title bar.

3. Click the Edit icon on the left-hand side of the content frame title bar.

   If you do not see the Edit icon, you do not have permission to modify the content

4. After making changes, click Save to save the change or click Cancel to return to the original content without the changes.

5. On the framework title bar, click Save to save the original personal layout with the updates or click Save As to create a new personal layout.
