UDO management usability: Viewing and managing UDO dependencies

The View Dependencies feature enables you to identify all the dependent objects that are required to set up and implement a UX One role.

You can review and manage object dependencies for Composed Page and Composite Application Framework user defined objects. This is helpful when you want to determine if you have all the dependent objects that exist for a particular OMW project.

UDO management usability improvements

The Object Management Workbench - Web application (P98220W) enables you to copy an OMW Project that contains UDOs. You can also delete multiple objects for a single user/role.

You can manage View security for individual UDOs or all the shared UDOs using the User Defined Object Management (P98220U) application.

64-bit processing support

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne has supported 64-bit hardware, operating systems, databases, Java, and middleware for many years. Multiple JD Edwards components, such as HTML Server, AIS Server, Orchestrator and other Java-based components, are 64-bit enabled. To round out our architecture, JD Edwards enables 64-bit processing for the Enterprise Server and Development Client.

Note: You can upgrade to EnterpriseOne Tools release 9.2.3 without implementing 64-bit processing. Support of Workflow Modeler is deprecated with 64-bit processing.

BLOBs in Data Browser

If a table or business view contains a BLOB, the Repository BLOB column appears in the grid on the Data Browser search form. Click the icon in the Repository BLOB column to view the content as a string. This can be helpful for troubleshooting purposes.

EnterpriseOne Orchestrator: Monitoring Orchestrator health and exceptions

The EnterpriseOne Orchestrator Monitor (P980060X) enables you to perform a health check of your EnterpriseOne Orchestrator environment. It provides information about which objects are performing well and which ones might need fine tuning, as well as details about exceptions so that you can take corrective actions to resolve any issues.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide for Studio Version 8 and Prior:

EnterpriseOne Orchestrator: Managing Orchestrator health and exception records in EnterpriseOne

EnterpriseOne provides the Orchestrator Health and Orchestrator Exceptions program (P980060) so you can manage health and exception records outside of the Orchestrator Monitor. You can delete records in P980060, effectively resetting the data displayed in the Orchestrator Monitor. And you can create a watchlist over a query of exception records so that you can be alerted to new exceptions.

EnterpriseOne Orchestrator Studio 7.0.0.0: Returning multiple values from an application stack form request

With Orchestrator Studio 7.0.0.0, in the Form Design page, you can configure a form request to return values from multiple forms in an application stack. You can also return values from multiple forms when using the Process Recorder with EnterpriseOne Tools 9.2.3. Prior to this release, you could only return values from the last form in an application stack.

EnterpriseOne Orchestrator Studio 7.0.0.0: Using an FTP connector to import data from a CSV file

Business analysts can create an FTP connector, a type of service request, to import data from a CSV file.

EnterpriseOne Orchestrator Studio 7.0.0.0: Defining error handling for orchestration steps

In the Orchestration design page, you can set up error handling for individual orchestration steps. This determines how the Orchestrator handles an error, whether it:

-Continues processing the orchestration after the error occurs, effectively ignoring the error.

-Cancels the orchestration.

-Cancels the orchestration and invokes an alternate orchestration or notification.

AIS Server REST APIs: New and updated media object services

Updates to the REST API for AIS Server include updates to the Media Object services to add a text media object, view multiple text media objects, and update a particular text media object. Before this enhancement, you could only update the first text media object attached to a form.

See the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools REST API for the Application Interface Services Server Guide.
