Logic Extensions: Aggregation Support

This feature enhances the capabilities of logic extensions by providing the ability to aggregate data that is read from EnterpriseOne tables. In addition to reading data from EnterpriseOne tables, logic extensions can now provide functions such as sums, averages, counts, and minimum or maximum values. These aggregated results can then be used in subsequent operations within the logic extension or passed as output to the next step in an orchestration.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide:

Data Set Processing for Logic Extensions

This feature enhances the capabilities of logic extensions by providing the ability to accept arrays as inputs and return arrays as outputs for efficient iterative processing.

Access to AIS APIs from e1pagehelper

This enhancement broadens the list of APIs that can be invoked through e1pagehelper.js to include essentially all AIS APIs, thus expanding the services you can use to build your custom JavaScript pages.

Complex Queries to EnterpriseOne Database

Starting with Tools Release 9.2.7, you can configure a database connector in the Orchestrator Studio that uses the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Data Access Driver (DADriver). Using this connector, you can read data from the EnterpriseOne database by using complex SQL statements and joined tables.

File Selector for Orchestrations Launched from an EnterpriseOne Page

The JD Edwards extensibility framework provides many ways to extend and enhance the EnterpriseOne system without the need for deep technical skills or traditional customizations. One such extension is the ability to launch an orchestration from an EnterpriseOne page and enable the orchestration to upload or download files.

Call Logic Extensions Using Form Extensions

Logic extensions are self-contained, specific set of instructions for a given purpose. This enhancement enables you to launch logic extensions directly from a form extension and simplifies the process of associating the logic extension to an event in interactive forms and manages it as a user-defined object.

Enhanced Authentication for Data Access through Data Access Driver

Enhanced authentication for data access through Data Access Driver enables customers to have seamless authentication through a token-based process as an alternative to using a user name and password. This capability enables customers to make highly secure requests for data access without exposing the user credentials. This feature provides enhanced security and enables customers to eliminate repetition of user credentials for every request made through the Data Access Driver.

Web OMW Specification based Object Support

Starting with Tools Release 9.2.7, you can use Web Object Management Workbench (Web OMW) to import and export specification-based objects and transfer projects with combined object types. These enhancements reduce the dependency on the windows development client to just design and development work of specification-based objects, extending the flexibility of life cycle management to multiple platforms. In addition, Web OMW has been enhanced to support direct and complete development of Workflow and Data Structure objects, forgoing the necessity for a Windows Development Client completely for these object types.
