Orchestrator Variable for Report Queue

This feature enables Orchestrator to automate EnterpriseOne report processing, thereby combining the intelligence and flexibility of orchestrations with the power and efficiency of EnterpriseOne report processing. This feature also allows the job queue to be passed into an orchestration report step as a variable. The specified job queue can be supplied by the third-party system or client as an orchestration input, or it can be derived from some other orchestration step.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide:

Ability to Reorder Data Request and Form Request Grid Outputs

This feature enables the key capability of the EnterpriseOne Orchestrator to fetch data from the EnterpriseOne database and pass that data to subsequent orchestration steps or as an orchestration output. The two primary ways to fetch data sets (arrays) are through a data request or to return grid data through a form request. This functionality improves the readability of the output by enabling the designer to control the order of elements, specifically for the output generated in a CSV file.

See the following topics in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide:

EnterpriseOne Pages and Form Extensions: Rename Inputs to Orchestrations

This feature enables you to modify input names of orchestration or notification from form extensions and EnterpriseOne pages. If you modify the name of the input from a tile or form, the system displays the renamed input only when the orchestration is called from that tile or form.

See the following topics in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Using and Approving User Defined Objects Guide:

Ascending or Descending Thresholds on Watchlists

This feature enables you to create Watchlists with ascending or descending thresholds. In a Watchlist with Ascending threshold type, the threshold is breached when the Watchlist count is greater than the threshold value whereas in a Watchlist with Descending threshold type the threshold is breached when the Watchlist count is lower than the threshold value.

Execute a Watchlist v2

Starting with Tools Release 9.2.8.2, a new output called thresholdType is added to the output of the Watchlist service.

See the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools REST API for the Application Interface Services Server Guide.

Update Manager: UDO Deployment

This feature enhances JD Edwards Update Manager to support deploying UDO packages in addition to the standard object ESU and cumulative update packages using the Work with Software Updates - Web application. This enhancement also supports deploying UDO packages using Change Assistant with the AIS server connection.

View PDF Attachments with a Single Click

This feature enables you to view a PDF attachment without the requirement to first download the file to local desktop.

See the following topics in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Foundation Guide:

View Attachments in Composite Application Framework

This feature enables you to create a Composed Application Framework (CafeOne) layout for the media object viewer.

See the following topics in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Composite Application Framework (CafeOne) User's Guide:

Improved Automatic Serialized Object Generation

This feature enables you to automatically generate serialized objects for frequently used objects, objects based on language preference, and objects for a specific path code. Additionally, you can clear serialized objects for specific object.

See the following topics in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Server Manager Guide:

Authentication for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services

This feature extends the supported authentication mechanisms that EnterpriseOne Orchestrator can use to invoke external services provided by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Specifically, this feature enables the use of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure API Signature Version 1 to authenticate to services such as Oracle Document Understanding.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide:

Return Connector Response Status as a Variable

This feature enhances the Orchestrator connector step (REST or OpenAPI) to assign the returned HTTP status code to an orchestration variable. Having the HTTP status code as an orchestration variable then gives the orchestration designer more control over an intelligent reaction to the HTTP status.

Include Control Information in Orchestration Form Service Exception Response

This feature enhances the exception response from an error on a form service request to include the field name, data item alias, and table where the data is stored. For grid errors, the exception response also includes the row number on which the error occurred.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide:

Orchestrator: Send a File without Multipart Request

This feature enables the Orchestrator Connector step to allow files to be sent to external REST APIs either as a multipart request or as a "direct" request (without multipart boundaries in the request body).

See the following topics in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide:

Orchestration Variable for Maximum Records in Form Requests and Data Requests

This feature enhances the Maximum Records option in Orchestrator form requests and data requests to be able to accept a variable number of rows to be returned.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide:

Reorder Orchestration Inputs

This feature allows you to reorder orchestration inputs, thus enabling orchestrations to more easily integrate to user interfaces or third-party systems that might be sensitive to the order of inputs.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide:

User Access and Application Usage Tracking

This feature enables administrators to track application usage across the various application modules in EnterpriseOne. The administrators now have visualization of unique user access of application modules and unique user access of application modules based on roles.

Server Manager - Enterprise Server Component Change Retain External Files

Starting with Tools Release 9.2.8.2, Server Manager retains the required external files when a Change Component for change is initiated for the Enterprise Server. The system automatically migrates external files such as custom SSL certificates, any imported fonts that are utilized, and critical day-to-day job operations of the Enterprise Server without additional manual intervention post component change.
