XML Canonicalization API (Release 9.2.26.6)

Starting with Tools Release 9.2.26.6, JD Edwards provides an XML Canonicalization (XML-C14N) API to canonicalize XML files. The API normalizes XML into a consistent, standards-based form, enabling stable XML output for digital signatures, hashing, and message comparison. It also helps reduce integration issues caused by XML formatting differences.

Note: The API accepts an input XML file name and an output canonical XML file name. The input and output file names must be different.

Note: Document Type Definition (DTD) expansion during XML canonicalization is not supported by this API.
