Terminating, Suspending, or Resuming Workflow Process Instance

The Workflow Monitor also enables workflow administrators to Terminate, Suspend, and Resume JD Edwards EnterpriseOne workflow process instance. You can terminate an instance of a workflow process if it contains errors or if the process cannot continue, such as when an employee has not yet answered his or her messages because of vacation or termination. Terminating the process in error allows the subsequent requests to begin processing. You might want to suspend an instance of a process if you want other processes to finish before a certain process. You can also resume a suspended instance of a workflow process.

To terminate an active or suspended workflow process:

  1. Search for the active workflow instance you want to terminate.
  2. Expand the node to view the instance details.
  3. Click the Terminate icon on the right.

To suspend an active workflow process:

  1. Search for the active workflow process you want to suspend.
  2. Expand the node to view the instance details.
  3. Click the Suspend icon on the right.

To resume a suspended workflow process:

  1. Search for the suspended workflow process.
  2. Expand the node to view the instance details.
  3. Click the Resume icon on the right.
