Sending Consolidated Balances Interactively to the Target Company

Access the Consolidation Console form.

The system prompts you for the names of the source and target environments. You can use the browse function to locate either environment. If you leave the source environment blank, the system uses your environment as the source environment. If you leave the target environment blank, the system uses your environment as the target environment.

Transmitted File Status

Enter the status of records in the F1001 table. Values are:

Blank: Not transmitted.

P: Pending. The system is in the process of transmitting.

1: Transmitted.

2: Most recently processed record.

3: Previously processed record.

Site ID

Enter the source of the transaction. This can be a user ID, a workstation, the address of an external system, a node on a network, and so on. This field helps identify both the transaction and its point of origin.

Environment

Enter the number that an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transmitter assigned to a transaction.

In a non-EDI environment, you can assign any number that is meaningful to you to identify a transaction within a batch. It can be the same as a document number.

Batch Number Range

Enter the number that the transmitter assigned to the batch. During batch processing, the system assigns a new batch number to the transactions for each control (user) batch number it finds.
