Setting Up Exchange Rates for Triangulation
Access the Revise Currency Exchange Rates form.
- Triangulation Currency
Enter the currency code of the settling currency for triangulation calculations.
- Triangulation Method
Select this option to use the triangulation calculation method for the currency relationship.
If you are setting up a new exchange rate for an existing currency relationship, the default calculation method is retrieved from the previous exchange rate record for that currency relationship.
- Leg 1 Conversion Method
Enter the conversion method to use for leg 1 of the triangle. Values are:
Y: Multiplier method.
Z: Divisor method.
If you are setting up an exchange rate for a new currency relationship, the default conversion method is retrieved from the General Accounting Constants program.
- Triangulation Rate Leg 1
Enter the exchange rate between the foreign and triangulation currencies.
- Triangulation Rate Leg 2
Enter the exchange rate between the triangulation and domestic currencies.
