Prerequisites

Before you complete the tasks in this section, you must:

  • Verify that the COBRA Plan option on the Plan Master form is activated for all plans that are available for COBRA coverage.

    See Setting Up Benefit Plans.

  • Verify that the Valid for COBRA option on the U.S. Legislative/Regulatory form is activated for all deduction, benefit, accrual (DBAs) that are used for COBRA administration.

  • Verify that the second description field for each pay frequency in UDC 06/PF contains the number of pay periods. If the second description is blank, the COBRA premium amount will be incorrect.
