Process

1. Mode

Specifies whether the process needs to run in proof or final mode. Valid values are:

0: Proof Mode - The system prints the report without updating the employee's DBA instructions. Use the report to verify the DBA information before you process enrollments in the final mode.

1: Final Mode - The system prints the requested report and updates the database. Use this mode after you have verified the DBA information and are ready to update the employee’s DBA instructions.

2. Effective Date

Enter the effective date to calculate the employee’s age. To use the system date as the effective date, leave this processing option blank.

3. Age From

Enter a value that specifies the minimum age of employees eligible for a greater catch up limit.

4. Age To

Enter a value that specifies the maximum age of employees eligible for a greater catch up limit.

5. Catch Up DBA

Enter a value that specifies the 401K Catch Up DBA considered for the process. This DBA is updated with the greater group limit if the employee meets the criteria.

6. Roth DBA

Enter a value that specifies the 401K Roth DBA considered for the process. This DBA is updated with the greater Group Limit if the employee meets the criteria.

7. Group Limit Amount

Enter a value that specifies the enhanced group limit.

8. Process Exceeding Age Catch-Up Limit Reset (Release 9.2 Update 27)

Use this processing option to specify whether to reset the higher catch-up limit for employees whose age exceeds the value specified in the Age To processing option. Values are:

Blank: Do not reset the higher catch-up limit. This is the default value.

1: Reset the higher catch-up limit.

Note: The data selection specified for R073223 does not apply to the R073223E report. When this processing option is set to 1, R073223E displays all employees whose age exceeds the value specified in the Age To processing option and who meet the other catch-up limit reset criteria.

The system processes only the DBAs specified in the Pre-tax CU DBA and Roth CU DBA processing options. For each qualifying employee and DBA, the system restores Group Annual Limit 2 in the Employee DBA Group Limit Overrides table (F069140) to the corresponding value in the Group Limits table (F069130). Only F069140 records with the program ID (PID) set to R073223 are eligible for the reset. Amount Rate 1 remains unchanged.
