Understanding User-Defined Information Setup

Before you can use any features of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Human Capital Management system, you need to define critical information that the system uses for processing. You set up some of this information to meet the specific needs of your organization. Such information is called user-defined information.

Set up user-defined codes to customize the system to meet your specific business needs.

Supplemental data

Set up supplemental data to track detailed information about employees, applicants, requisitions, and jobs. You can track virtually any type of information that your organization needs. Supplemental data is not required by the system.
