Understanding Initial Requisition Information
You enter initial requisition information to identify a new vacancy within the organization. For example, you might enter these types of initial requisition information:
Fiscal year
Home business unit
Job type
Job step
You can also attach objects to a requisition:
Text documents.
Scanned images.
Links to other JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications and other software packages.
For example, you can attach a Microsoft Word document that lists approval or rejection information for the requisition.
Basic requisition information is the minimum amount of information that you should track. It includes information such as the status of the requisition and the job to which it applies. Additional information includes optional items, such as pay information and information that is unique to the organization.
