Setting Up Tax Hierarchy for an Address Number
Access the Tax Hierarchy Setup form.
- Address Number

Enter an address book number that corresponds to the Ship To address number that is used in the purchase order or the sales order cycle.
- Country Tax Rate

Enter a number that identifies the percentage of tax that should be assessed or paid to the federal tax authority.
- Country G/L Code

Enter a value to specify the G/L offset account to which the system writes the calculated tax amount. This value should be three characters only, for example, CBS. For this, in the UDC 76/GL, you must have completed the Codes field by entering these three characters of the G/L Offset followed by four characters that represent the GL class of the item or service at the branch/plant level.

- City Code
- Enter a value from UDC table 76/CY to identify the code for the city to be associated to the address book number.
