Installing and Verifying the JDK Version

  • Oracle WebLogic Server 12.2.1 and 14.1.1.0 supports Oracle JDK 1.8.0+versions.
  • Oracle WebLogic Server 14.1.2.0 supports Oracle JDK 17.0.12+ versions.

A plus sign '+' after the third digit in the version number indicates that this and its subsequent versions are supported. Oracle JDK can be downloaded from the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud at this link:

Note:

Verify the returned result indicates that a 64-bit version of the JDK is installed. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne requires that a 64-bit JDK be installed so that the \bin directory of the JDK is located at the beginning of the PATH variable definition. You must have a valid value for the JAVA_HOME in your system path.
