Requirements for Visual Studio and Microsoft Software Development Kit for Windows 8.1

After the Platform Pack is installed, in order to perform package builds for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, you must install these Microsoft products and configure the JDE.INI file with their locations:

  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2013

  • Microsoft Software Development Kit for Windows 8.1

The install and configuration steps are described in the section of this guide entitled: Using Visual Studio 2013 with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
