For the Database, Enterprise, and Deployment Servers, machine names are limited to a maximum of 15 lower-case alphanumeric characters as limited by the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne database table and application design. For all servers, you cannot use special characters in the name, such as an underscore “_”. The user interface will enforce this restriction. |
