Job Forecast History Overview

Each time a forecast is moved to In Review (50) or Approved (90) status the system writes history records to these job forecast history tables:

• Forecast History Header table (F51F120)

• Forecast History Detail table (F51F125)

You can use the Job Forecast History program (P51F120) to review those history records. Note that these records are read-only, and no changes can be made to a forecast from this program. Also note that history records are not updated when a forecast is updated while remaining at the same status. History records are only written when the status of a forecast is changed to In Review or Approved.

For example, if you change a forecast to In Review, the system writes history records. If you then update that forecast, the system does not update or create history records. These records are intended to provide you with a snapshot view of what the forecast looked like at the time it was moved to In Review or Approved.

How data is displayed in this program is based on the version of the P51F100 that is specified in the processing options.
