Example of Financial Statement Output for a Numeric Value Row

Suppose that you are a managing partner in a joint venture and that you own 75% of the joint venture. The JD Edwards EnterpriseOne database tables store account balances for the entire joint venture. You can easily generate a financial statement showing the account balances as they are stored, but you also want to see a column in the statement that represents 75% of the account totals.

You can set up a Numeric Value row definition and enter .75 as the value for the row definition. You would then create a column in your layout (in the Layout Editor) that is the balance multiplied by this numeric value.

The following image illustrates a portion of the financial statement showing a column with 75% of the account balances.
