Personas for Agribusiness

The agribusiness industry includes activities to:

  • Plan, grow, and harvest crops.

  • Manage the quality of soil, seed, and product.

The delivered persona components for grower management include Active Content EnterpriseOne Pages, Composite Application Framework (CafeOne) layouts, queries, and watchlists for identified personas (roles) for the grower management industry. These components enable you to easily access data about your crops and harvests that reside in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software.

The following list describes the components of the agribusiness personas:

  • Active Content EnterpriseOne Page

    Active Content EnterpriseOne Pages are classic EnterpriseOne pages that include enhanced functionality provided by the Oracle JET (JavaScript Extension Toolkit) library. The Active Content EnterpriseOne Page for a persona is the first screen that end-users see when they log into EnterpriseOne when assigned a to persona. Active Content EnterpriseOne Pages are HTML files that can contain any of the following elements:

    • Specific information from frequently used applications along with links to the programs.

    • Charts and graphs that display the results of frequently used queries.

    • Watchlist results.

    • Interactive process flows.

    • URL links.

    • Displays from and links to web pages.

  • CafeOne layouts

    CafeOne layouts are a user interface framework that enables you to work with content from multiple sources within a single browser window. The CafeOne layouts enable you to view on one page the information that you use most. For example, the CafeOne page can be set up to display specific JD Edwards EnterpriseOne forms, graphics and charts, maps, and many other objects.

  • Queries

    Queries help you to locate the specific information that you need. The delivered components includes several queries that you can use to locate frequently required information.

  • One View Watchlists

    One View Watchlists represent collections of items that match user-defined criteria. They enable you to define the information for which you want a notification. For example, you might want to be alerted to outstanding tasks to do or thresholds that have been passed.

    You can use One View Watchlists only if you have One View Foundation set up on your system.
