Entering Sales Orders for Production Controlled Items Using Automatic Generation

Access the Order Header Revisions form.

To enter sales orders for production controlled items using automatic generation:

1. Complete the required fields for the order header and any other additional information.

   See “Entering Sales Orders for Customer Service Representatives" in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Applications Sales Order Management Implementation Guide.

2. Click Save and Continue.

3. On the Enter New Order form, enter the production controlled item information, such as the quantity and item number, in the first line.

4. Click in the Production Number field.

5. Select the Generate Prod No. option on the More Row Actions menu and click the >> (Go) button.

   If the Production Number Generation processing option on the Production No. tab of the Sales Order Entry program is set to 1, the system automatically generates a production number when you tab to the next line.

   The system generates a new production number.

6. Continue to enter detail lines on the Enter New Order form, as applicable.

7. Review your sales order detail lines and click Submit and Enter New to enter another order or click Submit and Close.
