Accessing Programs Associated with Bills of Material

Right-click an item's card to view a list of programs that you can access from the Where Used Diagram program. When you access programs from the Where Used Diagram program, the system opens the version of the program that you specified in the processing options.

The system sends the item number and branch/plant of the item to the program that you open. If you make changes to the item or bill of material in the program that you access, you can see your changes in the Where Used Diagram after you click Refresh.

The following options enable you to access programs used for items and bills of material:

• S/D Inquiry

  When you click S/D Inquiry, the system opens the Work with Supply and Demand form of the Supply/Demand Inquiry program (P4021).

• Part Availability/Bill of Material Inquiry

  When you click Part Availability/Bill of Material Inquiry, the system opens the Bill of Material Inquiry - Single Level form in the Bill of Material Inquiry program (P30200).

• Routing Inquiry

  When you click Routing Inquiry, the system opens the Work with Routing Operations for in the Enter/Change Routing program (P3003).

• Item Master

  When you click Item Master, the system opens the Work With Item Master Browse form in the Item Master program (P4101).

• Item/Branch

  When you click Item/Branch, the system opens the Work With Item Branch form in the Item Branch program (P41026).

• Visual Bill of Material

  When you click the Visual Bill of Material, the system opens the Visual Bill of Material form in the Visual Bill of Material program (P30001X).
