Understanding the Branch/Plant Selection for Copy Cost Values Program

Use the Branch/Plant Selection for Copy Cost Values program (P30890) to set up the To and From branch/plants to copy the simulated or frozen costs from one cost method to another cost method.

The R30890 and R308901 programs use the P30890 program to copy the cost from one branch/plant to multple branch/plants. You can replace only simulated costs, not frozen costs, in the copy to branch. You can add, delete, and edit records using the P30890 program. You can search for records or filter records using the Branch/Plant to Copy field.

Note:

While adding, deleting, or editing records in the branch/plants, the system displays an error message if:

•   The branch/plant to be updated has the same value as the branch/plant from where the cost is being copied.

• You leave the field blank for the branch/plant from where the cost has to be copied.
