Generating Bills of Material for Child Style Items on Demand

Access the Work With Bill of Material for Style Items form.

You set the Bill of Material Creation processing option on the Bill of Material tab of the Style Item Master program (PCW51) to blank to specify that the system creates bills of material on demand.

To generate bills of material for child style items on demand:

1. Select a style item root level 0.

2. Select Create from the Row menu.

   The system validates and generates the bills of material for all lowest-level child style items. After bill-of-material creation, you can view the bills of material for the lowest-level child style items. Also, once the system creates bills of material for child style items, the color of the row of the parent style item changes from blue to black.

   You can set data selection and data sequencing for the program.
