Issuing Inventory to a Master Work Order for Style Items

Access the Master Work Order Parts List Details for Style Items form.

To issue inventory to a master work order for style items:

1. On the Work with Master Work Orders for Style Items form, select a master work order and select Inventory Issues from the Row menu.

2. On the Issues tab of the Master Work Order Parts List Details for Style Items form, review the values in the Quantity Ordered and Quantity Issued fields for each item on the parts list.

3. Enter a value in the Issues field for each item on the parts list, if applicable.

   If the Issue Material for processing option on the Display Options tab of the Master Work Order Processing for Style Items program (PCW49) is set to a value of 1, then the system populates the Issues field with the quantity to issue for each item on the master work order.

4. Click OK.

Issues

Enter a value that represents the available quantity, which might consist of the on-hand balance minus commitments, reservations, and backorders. You enter this value in the Branch/Plant Constants program (P41001).
