Splitting Messages for Style Items

Access the Work With Matrix Management of Messages form.

To split messages for style items:

1. Enter the style item root level 0 in the Style Item Root Level 0 field and click Find.

2. Select a row based on the message type and total demand that you want to process and click Select.

3. Select a row on the Matrix Management - Detail Message Revisions form.

4. Select Split Messages from the Row menu.

5. Add new rows containing start date and quantity information on the Matrix Management - Split Messages form.

   For example, if you want to split the initial order into two orders, then enter the dates and quantities of the second order in a new line.

   In the first order line, the system maintains the initial dates. The first order line also maintains quantities that are equal to the difference between the initial quantities and those chosen for the second order.

6. Click OK.

   The system displays the Matrix Management - Detail Message Revisions form with the new split quantities.

7. Click OK.

   The system displays the Work With Matrix Management of Messages form with new split quantities and other modified data.

8. Process the style items as required.
