Defaults

These processing options specify how the system verifies effectivity and to specify the default header status code to use.

1. Work Order Effectivity Date

Specify the default work order date for effectivity checking. If you leave this field blank, the system uses the work order start date.

2. Header Status Code

Specify the default status code for the work order header. Enter a value from UDC 00/SS (Work Order Status) that identifies the status of the work order. If you leave this field blank, the system does not change the status on the work order header.

(Release 9.2 Update) Enter * in this field to automatically advance the status of all work orders that have the activity rules enabled, to the respective next status as defined in the activity rules.

3. (Release 9.2 Update) Header Status Code for Component Shortage

Specify the default status code for the work order header when there is any shortage of required component quantities. Enter a value from UDC 00/SS (Work Order Status) that identifies the status of a work order with a material shortage. If you leave this field blank shortages will not affect the update of work order status.
