User Defined Price Code Preference

Use the User Defined Price Code preferences to define codes for the company's unique pricing needs. Price codes are added to the sales order detail line during order entry.

Price codes can be used in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing programs to define price adjustments. They can also be used for reporting requirements. For example, you might use a price code for temporary pricing. You define a price code to identify order lines that must be repriced when commodity prices are published for a specific period.

When the price is known, you can run the Sales Order Batch Price/Cost Update program (R42950). You should only select those lines with the price code that equal the specified value.
