Warehouse Control

Select the Warehouse Control tab.

If you do not use JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Warehouse Management, do not complete the fields on the Warehouse Control tab.

Request Inclusion Version

Enter a code from UDC 40/RV that identifies an inclusion rule to use for this branch/plant. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing systems from Oracle and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Warehouse Management use inclusion rules in this way:

  • For JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing systems, enable multiple versions of resource rules for running Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Master Production Schedule (MPS), or Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP).

  • For JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Warehouse Management, enable multiple versions of inclusion rules for running putaway and picking. The system processes only those order lines that match the inclusion rule for a specified branch/plant.

Dimension Unit of Measure

Enter a code from UDC 00/UM that identifies the unit of measure to display dimensions for the warehouse. The system enables you to establish inches, centimeters, meters, and so forth as a measuring standard.

Volume Display UOM (volume display unit of measure)

Enter a code from UDC 00/UM that identifies the unit of measure that the system uses to display volume for this branch/plant. The system inputs a value in this field from the Branch/Plant Constants program (P410012). You can override this default value.

Weight Display UOM (weight display unit of measure)

Enter a code from UDC 00/UM that identifies the unit of measure that the system uses to indicate weight for this item. You can specify ounces, grams, kilograms, and so on, as weight standards. The system uses this unit of measure for the item or overrides it for an individual item or container.

Receiving Location

Enter the area in the warehouse where you receive inventory. The format of the location is user-defined and you enter the location format for each branch/plant.

Shipping Location

Enter the location that the system uses as the default value when you pick inventory and move the inventory for shipping. The format of the location is user-defined in the Branch/Plant Constants form.
