Understanding Mode of Transport Constants

Use the Mode of Transport Constants program (P49004) to define all of the default information for the modes of transportation that you use. The mode of transport constants can vary by depot. You can set up information for the depot that includes default vehicle type and default load

Use the Mode of Transport Constants program to define information that for the various modes such as truck or rail. Row menu options enable you to review routing entries and routing restrictions. The mode of transport constants also control system processing that is unique to a particular mode.
