License Plate Master Partial Plate Update (R46L840) (Release 9.2 Update)

You can evaluate and update existing license plates that have characteristic flags indicating the state of the license plate based on the License Plate Master (F46L10) records. The License Plate Master Partial Plate Update (R46L840) program evaluates the existing state of all the selected license plates and updates the characteristic flags accordingly. Before running the program, ensure that the branch/plant is license plate enabled and has license plate records in the License Plate Master (F46L10).

The License Plate Master Partial Plate Update (R46L840) program updates the following characteristic flags for the selected License Plate Master (F46L10) records:

Empty License Plate (ELPN)

The program sets this flag when items are not available on the license plate or on any of its child plates.

Changed Quantity Plate (CQLPN)

The program sets this flag when the quantity of an item on a license plate has increased or decreased, or when an item or lot has been added to a license plate or removed from a license plate. If you are reusing license plates, this flag will not be set when items are initially added to an empty license plate.

Mixed Item Plate (MILPN)

The program sets this flag when the license plate contains multiple different items.

Mixed Lot Plate (MLLPN)

The program sets this flag when the license plate contains multiple different lot numbers for a single item.

Partial Plate (PARTLPN)

The program sets this flag when the Change Quantity Plate (CQLPN), Mixed Item Plate (MILPN), or Mixed Lot Plate (MLLPN) flags are set for a license plate.

Note: Run this program once and do not use it again after updating the flags. Once set, the characteristic flags are maintained automatically by all the processes changing the inventory associated with a license plate.
