Understanding the EA Warehouse Putaway Process
A typical warehouse putaway process includes the following steps:
- Request Creation
- Request Suggestion
- Request Cancellation
- Partial Confirmation
- Request Closure

Putaway requests created by the Batch Create Putaway Requests for loose and non LP Items using the Batch Putaway Request (R46140). |

Request Suggestion |
The receipt or the batch creates a request in the warehouse system to suggest location to place the order based on the setup. The status of this request is at 220. |

The system suggested locations that you are yet to confirm. |
Open 2 Phase Putaway Suggestion |
In two-phase suggestion the order item is placed in a temporary location before moving it to the suggested location. |

Request Cancellation |
When a request is canceled, it goes to request cancellation status. You can cancel the request until the request is confirmed. The status of this request is at 291. |

Request Canceled in the Past 24 Hours |
The count of requests canceled in the last 24 hours. |
Partial Confirmation |
Requests remain at this state until they are fully confirmed. It occurs when some parts of a request have been confirmed, while others are still pending. The status of this request is at 250. |

Request Closure |
When the request is closed after confirmation, it goes to the request closure status. The status of this request is at 299. |
