Reconfigure Memory Allocations

Before running Table Conversions, you need to reconfigure the memory allocations in OW_CRP and OW_DEV (whichever one you are upgrading).

  1. Sign on as the instance owner.

  2. Navigate to the DB2 for Linux, Windows, and UNIX install location under your EnterpriseOne install location. For example:

    /u01/jdedwardsppack/e920/UDB

Note: If you no longer have this location, you can navigate to the DB2 for Linux, Windows, and UNIX folder for the new release once you have run the Platform Pack.
  3. Set the environment variable ENVDB to the database name. For example:

    Export ENVDB=OW_DEV

  4. Run this shell script:

    config_large.sh

  5. If you are performing a Simplified Upgrade, you must also follow this for the shared database of the previous release. For example, the shared database might be named OWSH920.
