Understanding System Account Security for DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows Databases
The Platform Pack installer creates a system account for each datasource owner plus JDE. If you specify to use the DEFAULT password, these accounts are assigned the same password as the owner. For example, the datasource owner sy920 is created with password SY920.
If these passwords violate your security policy, the Platform Pack install will fail. In this case you will need to specify a SECURE PASSWORD that will not violate your security policy The secure password will be used for all users that the Platform Pack creates. Refer to Working with Database Security to create password overrides onto the Deployment Server for purposes of running the Planner and Installation Workbenches.
If you need to create new accounts, you should use this list of Release 9.2 users and add owshare as a primary group:
