This section discusses the workflow that distributes contact reports, with added comments, through email notifications.

Event Description |
When a development officer completes a constituent action or contact with a prospect, the officer summarizes the results and information gathered in a contact report. This workflow allows the officer to send the contact report to individuals who have an interest in the outcome of the action. It includes the ability to alter the report prior to sending, adding explanatory text or removing sensitive information that should not be widely distributed. |

Action Description |
The development officer completes an action and its related contact report. From the contact report, the officer clicks the Send Report button to create the email text. The system begins the email workflow when the user clicks the Send button. |

Notification Method |
The system sends an email notification with the contact report information update to the specified recipients. Fields utilized in the email text include: Constituent Name, a description of the related Constituent Action, the sender's Name, and the contact report text. The user can edit the information that defaults on the Send Contact Report page. |
