Correcting Historical Enrollment Data

Use the Re-evaluate NSC History Data component to define the date range for an optional reevaluation routine in the Consolidated Statistics process, correcting historical enrollment data affected by National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) edits introduced in Fall 2024.

If you need to correct enrollment data that wasn't corrected in response to NSC edits for Fall 2024, use the Re-evaluate NSC History Data page to establish the scope for the optional reevaluation routine in the Consolidated Statistics process.

For example, if your Fall 2024 submissions reset the program enrollment status effective date to the start of the Fall 2024 term for continuing full-time students, those who were term activated but not enrolled in Summer 2024, the NSC would recalculate the effective date based on the last required term submitted. If a student was continuously enrolled full time from Fall 2023 through Spring 2024, the effective date would be reset to the Fall 2023 term start date.

Because this component and the reevaluation routine it enables are intended solely to correct issues resulting from the NSC edit introduced in Fall 2024, the available date range is restricted to terms that may have been affected and not subsequently corrected by that edit.

Field or Control	Description
From As of Date	The earliest date in the reevaluation range. The date can't be earlier than 02/01/2024.
To As of Date	The latest date in the reevaluation range. The date can't be later than 12/31/2026.
Refresh List	Click to populate the academic statistics period list based on the date range you entered or updated.

To enable reevaluation, enter a date range. The date parameters you set here are applied each time Consolidated Statistics processes a student who hasn't yet been reevaluated. If you don't need to correct historical data, restrict access to this component or leave it disabled.

Academic Statistics Period List

This region displays eligible statistics periods within the specified date range, where the As of Date falls between the From As of Date and To As of Date, and where the statistics period type is configured for NSC reporting.
