Configuring the Gateway

Configure the Integration Broker gateway with the external aliases used by the UCAS-Link service operations.

1. Go to PeopleTools, and then Integration Broker, and then Configuration, and then Gateways.
2. In Integration Gateway ID, search for LOCAL.
3. From the Gateways page, click Gateway Setup Properties.
4. Enter your user ID and password.
5. Click Advanced Properties Page.
6. In Gateway Properties, locate ig.UseDomainName.ExternalOperationNames.
7. Remove the leading number sign (#) if the property is commented out.
8. Add the external aliases for the UCAS-Link service operations to the property. For the delivered version 1 service operations, include these aliases:
   • SAD_UC_GET_TOKENLINK.v1
   • SAD_UC_MONITORQUERY.v1
   • SAD_UC_GET_DLOADQUERY.v1
   • SAD_UC_DLOADITEMS.v1
9. Click OK.
10. Save your changes.

This setup is required when connecting to the UCAS HEP test environments as well as the production environment.
