This image shows the Create Custom Image dialog box. There are links for help and cancel at the top right. There is text "The instance will be taken offline for several minutes during the imaging process. If the applications that are running on this instance don't shut down in a timely manner, they could be improperly stopped, resulting in data corruption. To avoid this, manually shut down the instance using the OS before you create a custom image. Windows supports different image types for different use cases. A specialized image creates an exact backup of your instance. A generalized image captures an image with a reusable configuration that does not include some of the instance-specific information. For information on the different image types and how to configure the image type created from your Windows instance, see Creating Images." (Creating Images is a link). There is a drop-down list Create in Compartment, showing sample text. There is a Name field showing sample text. There is a link Show Tagging Options.
