Common Elements Used in the Expenses WorkCenter

Most WorkCenters have a similar look and are configured the same. Some icons are developed in PeopleTools and appear on WorkCenter pages.

Elements that are specific to Expenses are:

Field or Control Description
Update Selected Rows

(update selected rows)

Select to change the action icon next to every row to a check box. This allows you to select multiple rows and take the same action on all selected rows.

Select again to change all check boxes back to an action icon.

Select to indicate that you want to work on that transaction or that you want to perform an action (in the Action drop-down list box) for the transaction.

Actions

Select an action to apply to the selected rows. Actions are specific to the selected pagelet or exception. Some examples include:

  • Approve Selected Transactions

  • Notify Employee

  • Notify Manager

  • Reconcile Cash Advance to access the Cash Advance Reconciliation page (EX_EXCEPTN_WC_SCF) where you can enter a check number.

The options that are available is determined by security.

Advance ID

Click to access the Cash Advance Inquiry page (TE_ADVANCE) in inquiry mode.

Employee ID

Click to access the Employee Information page, which provides more information about the employee.
