1.4.1 Defining COBOL Requirements

COBOL is not necessary for PeopleSoft PeopleTools or for applications that do not contain COBOL programs. However, some applications still require COBOL. The list of applications that require COBOL is available on My Oracle Support. Consult that list for application-specific COBOL requirements. If your application contains COBOL programs, you must purchase a supported COBOL compiler.
