1.1 Defining Support for 64-Bit Processing

PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.55 or higher supports 64-bit processing on most operating system platforms. You can find a list of the certified platforms for PeopleSoft PeopleTools from the Certifications tab of My Oracle Support.

If you are running your PeopleSoft installation on a 64-bit platform, any additional non-PeopleSoft products that you integrate with must also be 64-bit compatible.

For COBOL, you must update to the 64-bit version of a supported Visual COBOL and recompile your COBOL programs.
