1.19.2 Enable Synonyms for Search Definitions

To enable Synonyms for a particular search, you need to complete the following tasks:

1. Select PeopleTools, Search Framework, Administration, Deploy Search Objects.

2. Select Index Settings for each Search Definition for which Synonyms should be enabled.

3. Select Enable Synonyms and select OK.

4. After completing above steps for all Search Definitions for which Synonyms need to be enabled, select all Search Definitions for which these steps were completed, and select the update button.
