1.20.1 Understanding Insights Dashboards

PeopleSoft Insights is PeopleSoft's brand for visualizations and analytics driven by search framework. Currently, PeopleSoft Insights uses Oracle’s OpenSearch Dashboards for creating visualizations and analytics. PeopleTools is integrated with the supported versions of Oracle’s OpenSearch and OpenSearch Dashboards.

OpenSearch Dashboards is a web application and works with OpenSearch. PeopleSoft Insights provides visual reports (visualization) in the form of charts, tables, and so on, based on queries that you set up on OpenSearch indexes.
