2.3 Prerequisites

The following requirements must be met before you install PeopleSoft Portal Solutions:

• The installation of the appropriate version of PeopleSoft PeopleTools.

  • The PeopleSoft Portal Solutions database requires, at a minimum, the installation of PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.62.05.

  • The availability of the appropriate resources for your PeopleSoft Portal Solutions Demo database.

• The following table lists the minimum PeopleSoft Portal Solutions Demo database size for each platform:

  Important:

  For PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.62, PeopleSoft Search Framework uses the supported OpenSearch version. Refer to the PeopleSoft Search and Insights Home Page for supported versions.

• The table that follows lists the required and optional software packages for use with PeopleSoft Portal Solutions 9.1 applications.

  Indicates software that is not used by PeopleSoft Portal Solutions 9.1.
