This image shows an expanded Advanced options section on the Create compute instance page. Under Management > Instance metadata service (with an information icon) there is a switch Require an authorization header, which is not selected. There is text "When enabled, applications that rely on the Instance metadata service (IMDS) (this is a link) must use the IMDBv2 endpoint and provide an authorization header. All requests to IMDBv1 are denied. Enable this setting only if the image supports IMDBv2." Under Initialization script, there is text "You can provide a startup script that runs when your instance boots up or restarts. Startup scripts can install software and updates, and ensure that services are running within the virtual machine." There are radio buttons for Choose cloud-init script file and Paste cloud-init script (selected and surrounded by a red border). The Cloud-init script text field under the radio buttons displays the sample text from the documentation.
