Application Designer

Application Designer is the main application development tool of the PeopleTools suite, and it also offers a rich set of lifecycle management features that you will use frequently when upgrading, applying updates provided by Oracle, or applying customizations to your production database. These features enable you to:

• Copy projects between databases.

• Compare definitions in one database to like definitions in another to assess the upgrade or update impact.

• Merge definitions from one database to another.

• Create change packages to apply updates to your system automatically using Change Assistant.
